You are a student? Oh, okay.

Perhaps the guys that discard you because you're a student are: 1) expecting someone who will pay the bills on their dates, treat them in any way or that will be able to take care of their own expenses; 2) hoping to find a partner who will be willing to move to wherever they decide to go (because of work or something); 3) wishing to find someone that will be available to spare some free time with them without having to worry about them doing homework or preparing exams. I'm with you there. In my case if someone said to me that they were a student, I would decline any further conversation on the grounds of them 1: being too young and 2: they're probably expect me to foot any bills.

If anyone here uses Grindr you'll have probably received a SCAM message from some guy who claims to be a student and needs money to pay for his tuition. I usually report it to Grindr but it doesn't seem to do any good. He comes back now and again.

Oh gosh I get so much garbage on Grindr...between scams, fakes and flakes...Pretty much renders the app useless...

Yes, I agree. I only have it on my 'phone. because it's free and at times funny. I get so many totally refusable offers.

lol yeah and occasionally eye candy...usually when it comes to attractive guys on grindr I take the "for your eyes only" approach...

I have been through the "why won't anyone talk to me" or "why do guys only want sex" boo hoo hoo phase... I get it most guys expect way to much in physical appearence and I get that... But what is funny is when people expect you to be fit but hey I can't drive right now because of a DUI (drunk driving -- not sure if they call if something else in other countries).

I see a new thread coming...worst grindr profiles/pick-up lines.... I'm sure there are some dandies...
