Well vote for who you want to vote for. Some folks like Trump and I do think things in the media do get blown out of proportion and you don't have to be an expert that Trump says the crazy things he says to get attention. I take the Ron Swanson stance.

Me personally...I don't like any of the candidates. I half liked Bernie and Kasich but yeah neither of them were going to win. Bernie too far left and Kasich, too nice and too moderate for the GOP.

These people who claim to be voting their conscience are just straight-up assholes who probably don't know any better. I didn't make the rules but I'm certainly not going to pretend I'm above them.

They should kiss the rest of our asses that we didn't have a President McCain or a President Romney....or GASP..a President Palin.

I wanted to "vote my conscience" so many times...but I plugged my nose and voted for the person who would advance our society through the Supreme Court..one of the few ACTUAL things the President CAN DO. Other than that...veto power and Statesman pretty much sum up the actual power...

....but it is and always will be THE SUPREME COURT and anyone who is gay who doesn't get that IS an asshole...or extremely naïve....

Anybody else not give two fucks about this election anymore? I mean lets just get it over and done with. I'm tired of the whole "I know better than you" attitude people exhibit.... I don't care and you probably don't. The fact that we end up with candidates who are either under investigation and the or a fucking twat is sickening enough, to try to put logic on which dingleberry to vote for is maddening.

Hey Axle, have you been this involved in an election before? I think this one has brought a lot of strong opinions out that we have not felt recently. 1952 is the first election that I remember at all and, other than 1968, I don't think any has been as polarized as this one.

I think the real answer to your frustration is that we should limit the length of the entire process. I too am sick of being bathed in it all.

Years ago there was no internet or social media and all the news was on the tv which is controlled by the media.

It is indeed fucking insane. This is by far the craziest election in my lifetime. Glad you voted last time and hope you are voting this time because it does count. It means not only did you contribute one more to the count but also that you are involved. Tim Kaine says that voting is the most important thing we can do and I think he is right when we are talking about democracy.

Crazy or not, being part of this election is our job.
