I trim. It just feels... cleaner. Shaving is uncomfortable (and that's not even taking into account the whole stubble issue), and doing nothing just feels kind of grungy and dirty.

I prefer my partner trim as well. It's not a deal-breaker if he doesn't, but it's my preference.
