Of the things I have tried I will say that I can't stomach eating olives plain-=the have to be mixed with something to balance their strong taste, or mushrooms if they arent in a spaghetti sauce or sauce of some kind....and if liver isn't cooked right.

I LOVE spicey foods...and okra ain't bad if its cooked right. Though it can be strong at times...and you gotta eat it hot.

I agree with the notion that okra is unpalatable but I'm quite fond of spicy food.

Generally I suppose I'll try anything at least once though some foods out there Id at least need someone else to be trying with me.

Are you talking about fried crickets?

Fried tarantula, chocolate covered ants.

That goddamn duck foetus from the Philippines. Bhut juku or whatever which is like the most ridiculously lethally spicy pepper on earth.

I would try these things but only when somewhat drunk and with other people for I will not take such plunges alone :p

The spiciest pepper I had was a habanero pepper I bought a few freash ones and cut a couple up in a salad...which I later regreted eating, it was good stuff though.

As I recall bhut juku means something like "ghost pepper" and its twice as hot as the former spiciest pepper on earth, which was some variant of habanero.

LOL! I thought it was only me. I'll happily eat and try anything, except bananas. Like you the mere smell of them has me heaving, and if one goes near my mouth... urgh! They hide them in smoothies - you see a smoothie, you think lovely, you taste, and it's a re-enactment of The Exorcist.
