The interior of Penn Station looks beautiful animated though - thats a place I really wish I could have seen.

One has a sign that says East Boston Tunnel in it. I'm assuming that's Boston. The Capitol Building is in DC. That train station with the locomotive on the street is not in New York. A lot of that rail stuff doesn't look right, like the train turntable thing... Those heavy industrial scenes. I don't know.

The Metropolitan Life Insurance building, Central Park, old Penn Station, Saint Patrick's Cathedral, Saint Paul's spire, the Queensboro Bridge...Those all are NY, but some of the others I don't think are. Like National City Dairy Co and Peoples Drug Store. The last one with the York sign flashing... That doesn't look like it's in NYC.

But to answer your question I don't know where those others are from. It'd be interesting to see the source photos.

Haha, as you should - I showed this to my nyc history buff co-workers and boss and we figured out the source photos and locations:

The first photo is clearly NYC
Second photo is also clearly NYC with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Building in the background as the landmark.
Third, also clearly NYC with Saint Patricks Cathedral as the landmark.
Fourth - Its Boston

Twelvth - Bethlehem-Fairfield Shipyards, Baltimore

Thirteenth - Penn Station, NYC (So named for the Pennsylvania Railroad [MENTION=23097]Insertnamehere[/MENTION] , not the state )
Fourteenth - Again, NYC with Saint Paul's spire as the landmark
Fifteenth - NYC, The Queensboro Bridge
Sixteenth - Detroit, Detroit Rubber Works

Seventeenth - The Capitol building, DC
Eighteenth - NYC, Central Park
Nineteenth - The York Theater in DC





Again, its a beautiful animation, and I don't mean to detract anything from it. But thats what, 8 out of 19 that are actually NYC?
