I would say Joey Graceffa, even though he's been through some shit, he's still happy living a happy and interesting life Big Grin

I will be honest and I had to Google his name , obviously he's not aimed to my age group but I see he's had 850 million YouTube hits on his channels so he's massively popular with younger people - What makes him an idol for you if I may ask

As i said then he's been though a lot (i've read his book) and he's still happy, living his life, having fun and so on, and i just think his life seems so vibrant and exciting, ofc a lot of it is cuz he's a vlogger and it's his job, but still if i could live my life just half as fun as his i would be amazed Smile

I think there are a lot of people I have looked up to or idolized during different periods of my life. Especially by my late teens, I was really fascinated by Jane Jacobs, Jacob Riis, and James Baldwin.

The closest I've come to idolizing someone has been a fictional character.

Cold hard facts. Cold hard science. Pragmatism, skepticism, logical thinking and in time a passion for a professional career. Scully definitely had an influence showing me the kind of person I wanted growing up to be.

I loved how ballsy she was, that she said and did what she wanted, and screw anyone who got in her way.
