I think it's pretty cool how they do that. I know the NYC subway has been converting to continuous welded rail too.

Wow that it so cool. I'm so glad they found a practical use for Thermite.

They've yet to find a way of making a canister of Thermite fight a canister of liquid nitrogen though.
