I had a car accident a few years back and I was actually surprised how one of mates who I thought was losing interest in turned up and helped me out. Strange how life threatening situations change how you look at people. With my mate, we're like brothers now don't go out as much as did years ago but if something happens we will be both at each others side. Can't say that much about my family though sadly.

yikes! Well hope you find more people like that mate you got! <3

Ah, sir, we've discussed toxic families before. But you don't have to endure that for much longer.

Keep this perspective going and set your priorities. Live a happy and responsible life dude.

And don't scare us like this again eh?

Haha, that's a great way to put it actually. I did live to tell the tale. Yea alright, I'll try not to..

I mean, I think I'm independent enough not to need them nor count on them. I'll achieve my dream of going to france and live there for good. Smile

You'ree so lucky that the driver was responsible and stopped. So often one hears of cases of hit and run. Must have been a very frightening experience and don't be too surprised if at some point you suffer from delayed shock. Something like that happened to me quite some time ago and there were no effects until sometime later when I almost collapsed for no apparent reason. Anyway, hope you have an uneventful recovery.

A few weeks ago one of the guys I bike with was out jogging one morning and a car hit him...on his birthday. He was lucky, just bruised. Definitely scary, one of the things I constantly worry about when I bike. I mean it happens a lot more than one might expect. One reason why I haven't done much biking, plus being under the weather a lot here lately so haven't felt like doing much.
