For some reason the mail order pharmacy has taken to sending me boxes of lancets like they are surplus aspirin. I have so many of the damned things that I may start using them for thumbtacks.

My latest purchase: deli meat, cheese and fruit to make up a platter for the after church party tomorrow. Not a drop of wine or liquor to be had at said event. I can hardly wait for it to be over. I want my next gig to be with Anglicans. They drink.

In spite of supposedly being able to adjust the depth I found it insufficient and ended up stuffing some cotton wool in before I put in the lance so make it even penetrate my skin!
