I like both. But if I have to choose one, then a dog. You can go for walks with a dog. Well you can with a cat too, but dogs will go anywhere with you and love it. Cats on the other hand, wouldn't like to go places it would be cold and such.
Dogs are more cuddly.

Corgi is the cutest kind imo.
But gen manipulated dogs are more proned to get cancer than a mutt.

Dog, they may need more effort then cats do but they rely on you and love you for this when cats just use you for their own gain. My dog is the most loving dog I know, she's actually snuggling up to me right now as I watch TV and browse the internet.

Cats, though I've grown much more fond of dogs having my Pekingese. I love animals in general.

cat, their fuzzy mischievous yet snugly self's are just too cute !
The fact they come potty trained is a bonus and so long as you clean their box semi regularly and use good quality liter they dont smell ^_^.
