Yeah I don't know what it is, I guess it this whole being excluded thing and it's done for a reason. Just like people thinking women should be able to play in the NFL or whatever...but also have a cow if a gay guy wants to be a cheerleader...

Is it still true that women aren't allowed to work on submarines?
When it comes to women in the military, in fighting situations. I think if they can pass the same training and physical tests as men, they should be able to. Same with scrawny men. You'd think anyone, regardless of gender, who isn't physically at the standard, the military would be able to find more suitable positions for them. I'm fit, but I highly doubt I'm military fit. If the draft was ever brought back, I hope my ass would get a desk job of some type.
I'm curious how it works in Israel, they have women in their military, right? But maybe that's just more out of need? Like the women who fought in the Russian army during ww2?

I think the problem from what I'm hearing is that women are not being held to the same standards, or there's something else.... I mean I'm just curious, not being sexist here nor am I saying women should or should not be in the military.

Yeah I remember hearing there are separate standards for women. I don't really agree with that. I think some women could pass the standards for men. But unless we are just desperate for bodies or in a position to need everyone in the country to be ready to defend it, it puts others at risk to not hold all fighting military personnel to the same standard.
I'm just curious if other countries have separate standards, or if they just have beastlier women.

Anyway, was curious to hear your opinion on things...
My sentiments exactly, we all know women that are hardcore, but they are the exception to the rule and you don't make a rule for the exceptions. They get paid the same as us and physically are required to do less but that is what passes for equality these days and this is all done for the sake of inclusion. It bothers me because the military is not a social experiment. We also compete for the same promotion slots, but I need to do more than them.
Also my division, the 3rd infantry Division when I served in it had 4 full combat brigades with plans for a 5th, it now has 2 brigades and is being supplemented by troops of the Georgia Army National Guard. Like it or not part time national guardsmen are not of the same quality as regular troops. I served 4 years in the regular army and 1 in the reserves. As the regular army down sized the government planned to use Guard and reserves to fill the man power shortages. Having served in the reserves I can tell you that if our country had to rely on the reserve component we'd be seriously fucked, the reserves are without a doubt the least effective part of our forces and in my opinion not worth their pay.
I did not join the reserves but I was called back into service from the IRR and placed in a leadership position to act as a place holder for a year until the unit could find a Sgt to replace me, I worked for a YEAR in a job that I was untrained for as a military policeman. It is not uncommon in the reserves to have soldiers working in jobs they are not trained to do and as a result of this the reserve component is as a whole worthless.
The president is the commander and chief of the military and as such the buck stops with him, and rather than waste government money the military needs to be taken care of first.
I hope I have done a good job explaining it to you, the current state of our military breaks my heart.

I was 110 pounds 66 inches tall when I went and so was Audie Murphy. In fact it may surprise to learn that most combat arms soldiers are on the smaller side I was the tallest guy in our scout section. You would probably do fine. The army would make you physically strong you dont get a choice in the matter I hated running but I learned to run 12 miles in a stretch.
I dont know about Israeli women, but Russian women are as hard as fucking nails.

Thank you for your service, Doc. I appreciate it.
"You people"
Technically speaking, we're the foreigners here, Doc.
If you want to know why some don't 'like' him, then just read the things they have to say.

You people in the context of people in other countries worrying about what the United States. They need to spend less time worrying about what we do and more time worrying about themselves. They need to un-fuck their own countries, instead of waiting for us all of the time, we have our shit to work through.
Technically speaking, we're the foreigners here, Doc?
In what sense? In the Kingdom Heaven? on the internet? Do mean we are always foreigners to somebody else?
Lastly nobody has been put into camps, Ive heard what he says and it doesnt bother me, we shouldnt let a bunch of people from countries that hate us into our country, especially not Iraqi's, we lost more than four and half thousand people fighting for their shit country and they are to big of cowards to fight for it themselves, fuck them. The only people we should let in are those that helped us but that immigration wasn't blocked, so all of the terps that helped U.S. forces are still getting in they earned the right. Other places are alot harder than we are.
I hope that answers your questions, please ask more I find them engaging.

I agree.
There are women body builders, boxers, martial art experts, fighters and women who compete against men in the American Ninja Challenge games, using the same equipment and challenges that the men use, nothing is "modified" for a woman.

Im not ok with that, but I certainly live with as long as it was equal. Another issue is that in a training environment women are guaranteed by regulation one shower a week, for medical reasons while men are given nothing. I did 28 days without a shower in the Georgia summer its not fun. More than medical its mental being sweat covered for a month is miserable. Its the special accommodations they get that chaps my ass. I was against it, most guys were, you need to understand for better or worse the army seems to be morally and culturally 40 years behind the rest of the country. Even the idea of homosexuals serving openly made me uncomfortable and I was gay and actively fucking other men the the entire time, and I was still like " Do we we need gays in our army?".
