Can't tell if guy I like is gay or not

Hey it's my first post on this site but I didn't really know where or who else to ask for help/advice. So basically there's this guy at my school that I've started talking to recently, and he he hasn't made any significant indication as to whether he is straight or gay. Based on just what I've personally seen, it's hard to tell. The likelihood is that he's straight, but then a while back he shared a post about a car he liked on Facebook.

The image is attached, and the first comment is one of his good friends and then he responded with the comment below that one (names are crossed out). Is there any significance to this or is he just joking around with his friend?

I realize this isn't much to go off of but any help is appreciated.
