I idolize Carlin. Never got to see him, but my friend would always put his specials on tv when I went to his house. There has never been a comedian who comes close to the body of work that Carlin has done.

I particularly like his one on religion. Never was more truth said.

Yeah, that was a real shame. He packed up smoking and then found out he had Cancer :-(
