I've had things disappear into thin air as well. Usually they resurface from under other things.

found them - they had got underneath my mattress - changed my bedding and there they were , im not even gonna speculate how a pair of glasses can get there
i dont need to see people in HD but its so nice to see my PC and these chat windows  , forgot how good it was to see things clearly lol
