Maybe it's meant as an incentive to keep on posting...I saw a post in word games where the guy was saying "Gotta get my 100 posts" ...but yeah, an incentive, like when I give the and the treats when they do something good!!

The real perk is getting to choose your 'changeable user title' (see Londoner who still hasn't changed it) and having your name in rainbow letters.
For the rest, it's a lot of work. Hehe.
