BYZANTINE CHURCH IN ISTANBUL

Mood: None One of my afvourite sites in Istanbul is the tiny 11th century Byzantine church known as the Kariye Müzesi. The first time I visited it I was quite overwhelmed by the "jewels" before me; the wonderful mosaics and the frescos. Here are some shots of the interior to whet your appetite.
