Loch Ness & The Great Glen Way

These were taken on a hike I did along the Great Glen Way, which runs up the western shore of Loch Ness. It stretches roughly from Fort Augustus to Inverness. The ruined castle on the banks of Loch Ness is Castle Urquhart.

No sign of Nessie though...

If I remember right, that bridge was part of the old 17th century military road. I think that ran parallel to the hiking trail we were using, and we linked up with the military road in some parts.
