I came across this artists work on YouTube and thought it was quite fascinating and worth sharing.

In the artists own words:
I'm an artist that uses photoshop to bring old images and statues into the modern day. 
I use photo-compositing and digital drawing techniques to achieve a more photo-realistic appearance.
