I am new to the site. If that classifies me as someone who posts spam, I have to object strenuously. I have never done such a thing in my entire life.

If there are instructions to the site that could eliminate this problem, I need to receive them. As a technical writer with 22 years experience, I know how to read and interpret instructions very well.

You do realise it is a piece of software/algorithm doing this? It is also not personal to you. It happens to most/all other new members.

If something like that is routine for a new member, it does make a difference if the new member is informed instead of ridiculed.

I discovered that comments on this post are restricted. I just now saw that I'm no longer blocked. That made me suspicious about the whole site. What's the crime about posting something honest?

Just saw that proven again. Questionable at best.

This site has always functioned that way. I think it is to discourage spam or something?
