Anyone wanna try to explain what is going on at the central office of my DSL provider Verizon...
This is what I was told:
something about "CFA change"... "equipment change at the central office" ...
"A port needs to be changed at the central office."
They said something about this being a very big job, actually replacing a large device of some sort... and would take 24 to 48 hours... Seems like they may be replacing something major and maybe updating it but that wasnt said.
Can anyone explain what is going on and if this is all bull or something major happened
***That subject line should be all caps!!! I have noticed this before and did change in preview previous... seems like we cant change it after posting... but wtf, why all caps suddenly is "fixed"?
