So basically I used to have a commander during my basic training but we had a different bond compared to the other guys, he requested to guard with me for 4 hours and we really connected even though I was still in basic training. After i finished we started talking more and I was also offered a position to be on the same team as him and he really wanted me to come. I ended up not taking the position but we’ve been snapping for over half a year not. Over this period of time I’ve kind of developed a crush on him. He’s just nerdy and like a good listener and helps me so much and I wouldn’t be where I am in my military service without him. The thing is im not sure if he’s gay or not. When I was still in basic training I saw his tinder profile. And then I kinda freaked like what are the odds. Sometimes when we snap he has the most adorable smile and just makes my day, I just want more than just to snap with him. This one time I said something and he said I’m cute. Not sure if he’s straight and just flirty that way or if he’s gay and I’m just not sure what to do about it. My friend also talked to him about me in the recent past and my sexuality was brought up and he said that he didn’t know I was gay yet wasn’t shocked. He used to take a while to respond like one a week or two, and then started responding basically one a day and now it’s multiple times a day. I honestly don’t know how to go about it but I just want something more with him.
