Well, maybe not just yet, but one of these days I'm sure. (You name you're child this and he's going to end up the unfunny comic in someone else's life story, or something, and if he gets any farther it's most likely to be as one of the nation's great whipping boys.)

But hi. 

My name is in fact Kenny, and I'm an out gay man of nearly 35 years, as well as a nearly lifelong Prisoner of Hollywood; outside of that, I can barely get a job at the gas station. (I'm a gen x former child actor you've never heard of, and an itinerant showrunner with a franchise - about former child actors, who, it turns out, are also real life superheroes - in development with a certain out gay boomer writer/director [not named Gus Van Sant, though he did too win one of the big awards] and his producing/life-partner.) I'm also in Recovery, and a Survivor.

Having alienated practically everyone outside my Hollywood circle in the course of my use, I am now, not unpredictably, a little bored, lonely, and aching for connection.

My best life advice? If you truly believe that some of the people closest to you are transmitting negative thoughts to your head, you probably need a better diagnosis. But, speaking from personal experience, if you begin to share this belief with the people in your life they're gonna look at you awful funny.
