It's sad, I remember finding it on a newsstand when I was a teen, and being so excited that there was a paper that reported things that affected me, and also knowing that I wasn't alone.

That does sound like the end of an era. The news The Blade has covered has been in a time of unprecedented change. Pity it didn't last long enough to see marriage equality happen.

Some cause for optimism if the team is being kept together to work on a new publication. Let's hope it happens. Although we lost The Pink Paper in the UK it is still operational online.
