Religion of Driving
#1
Driving a car, is a religion to me.

My car is my temple.

The road, my faith.

When I'm driving on the road, I become a part of the whole. I'm dissolved into the system.

Ultimately, driving is interacting with other cars, and in each car, there's a driver behind the steering wheel, not unlike you yourself.

You become a particle in a stream of metal flow governed by traffic signs and traffic rules.

Around you, there are countless other particles, each zipping from and to their destinations, each with a purpose, and that purpose being,

Why are you going there?

To work.

As what?

As a mechanic.
As a manager.
As a doctor.

I see a Mercedes. He's got to be a lawyer.

And I can relate to each and everyone who just kissed their kids and drove to their workplace.

I sympathize with the world...

And I know I am not different, he's no different, she's no different.
And I know we are each different but all the same.

Drive safely, and be fuel efficient.

These are the only rules in this religion of driving.
