Babi Badalov is an openly gay contemporary artist who is seeking asylum in the UK. He has experienced years of abuse in his home country of Azerbaijan for being gay, including beatings and his own brother has threatened to kill him for 'bringing shame' on the family.

Babi's claim for asylum has been refused and he is campaigning to stop his deportation.
