Looking for new friends

I am usualy a quiet type of person not many friends. So this is kind of a stretch for me. I wasn't always like this. I used to hit the bars pretty hard, had a nice circle of friends but with work and all that kind of fell away and so did most of my friends. Then the AIDS epidemic took some of them. I miss them. As time went by I kind of lost touch with the Gay Community. Now I'm mostly into movies and long walks.

Loosing close friends to AIDS is disheartening and terrifying at the same time. It scares many of us away from the gay community for fear we will be the next victim of this horrible disease.

Work is important but you still need a social life with good friends who you feel comfortable being around. Go out and make new acquaintances, do some dancing and dating, enjoy yourself and be safe when it comes to sex. Before you know it - you'll find the right guy who will be there waiting for you when you come home from work. And, if he has dinner ready too, then he's definitely a keeper!!!:biggrin:
