Growing up, certain songs have connected with me in certain ways. They bring out emotions in me, as if out of no where. I believe everyone has a song, or at least style of music, that brings out a vision, if you will, of their future life with their special someone.
To help clarify, I've had a strong attraction for a guy I've seen around school for the last few years, and when I play this song, it helps to stimulate my imagination, and lets my mind bask in the possibilities I have in my life. Whether it be with this guy, or another. Who knows, I may sound like a total idiot with too much time on his hands, but hey, what makes me happy, makes me happy.
And now, to finally get to the point, I would like everyone to link a song that they feel truly expresses their love that they have, or could have, for someone. I'll start with mine.

I have had only one love song that really meant alot to me...before I met him (my lover) and ever since I did...It is our song...
I also think this is the best song ever written and also the best LP of all time but that is just a matter of taste and completely subjective.

Interesting. I like the idea of an "our song" and there may even be one that would qualify, but I think I probably spend more time working on my own musical ideas than listening to other people's music these days. So far I have yet to come up with any music I feel appropriately expresses the feelings I have for my man, but maybe one day I'll manage it. The tune that comes closest to pleasing me in this regard was one I composed with his late brother in mind and recorded with my band a few years ago.
We did once stroll through the woods near Holcombe singing Beatles songs. With our no longer lithe shapes maybe it should be "I Am the Walrus"?
Hmmm, I remember when I went on our first proper date with my ex. "As Long As You Love Me" was playing by Back Street Boys.
Amazing how quickly I associated "The Ballad Of Tom Jones" with him! Still do.
A friend recently got in touch with him on facebook and asked if I would ever get in touch with him again. "Sure", I said, "When Satan skates to work!" Only dogs return to their vomit.
Oh God I have an 'Anthem of Vulnerability',as I like to call it, for a song, that I obsessively listen to!! It has no significant memory value, but it does make me feel all of the emotions I require to stay creative. Its called, 'Am I Losing You', by Chante Moore!
