Does anyone consider Zodiac Compatibility when looking for a boyfriend?
#11
Well...before alot of things were proven as "facts" they were some peoples "beliefs"....so technically they were facts even when they were mere beliefs..if they became facts when proven...what were they before they were proven?

When the earth was considered flat and there were no facts available to contradict this belief...was it still not a fact? I assume facts indicate proof ?

Wow thanks for all the input.

Not quite sure how to word this, but when I was with my ex and trying to figure him out, I found out he was a Scorpio. Read a lot about Scorpios and some of the stuff I read described him very well.

That's kind of how I got into Astrology, after carefully choosing which sites to read on. And wow, when I read about a Pisces and Scorpio match we had already done several things of which they had talked about as being common lol. It gets much more detailed lol.

I kind of think of Astrology/Zodiac as a Science or a Fringe Science.
I'm not saying don't date guys because they're not in your top 3 match, but the chances of having a great/strong connection become greater if you do get a guy in your top 3 Zodiac matches, which is why I have lots of respect for Astrology lol.

On last note: I have a friend who is married. They fight all the time, might get a Divorce. I asked her what her sign is and what his sign is. Comes to find out their Zodiac matches are the worst for their signs LOL.

At the same time there was no evidence that the earth was not round it was an open question, the lack of disproof is not proof.

Cutieboy Wrote:No. You know what was unusual? The Zodiac sign my boyfriend (at the time) had was Virgo and I'm Gemini. Both of those signs are extremely incompatible. I don't believe in that stuff. We were perfect, up to the point we broke up. The breakup had nothing do with our signs.

"up to the point we broke up...." lol....

Doesn't seem unusual to me.

The extent of my use of the Zodiac in any aspect of life is my use of the newspaper's horoscopes as a coaster. That's about all it's good for as far as I'm concerned.

I just read this:

Astronomer Parke Kunkle tells NBC news that due to the Earth's changing alignment in the last 3000 years, the sign you are born into now are different than they were long ago. Plus, some astronomers believe there is a 13th Zodiac sign called Ophiuchus, which falls between Scorpio and Sagittarius.

"This is not something that happened today. This has gone on for thousands of years," says Kunkle. "Because of this change of tilt, the Earth is really over here in effect and Sun is in a different constellation than it was 3,000 years ago."

The constellation of Ophiuchus is located near the celestial equator and is typically depicted as a man wrangling a serpent. "Ophiuchus" means "serpent-bearer" in Greek. There are several different characters from Greek mythology that Ophiuchus is thought to represent, including Asclepius the healer, Trojan priest Laocoon, who was killed by sea serpents, and Phorbas, who saved the people of Rhodes from an infestation of serpents.

The sign Ophiuchus can be found in the Sidereal Zodiac, which is used by Jyotish (or Hindu) astrologers. The Sidereal Zodiac's astrological sign dates are similar to the dates listed below, depending on if the Sun is in a constellation or not.

So astrology enthusiasts should be using these dates, which reflect the current alignment of the Sun, Earth and stars.

Capricorn: Jan. 20 - Feb. 16
Aquarius: Feb. 16 - March 11
Pisces: March 11- April 18
Aries: April 18- May 13
Taurus: May 13- June 21
Gemini: June 21- July 20
Cancer: July 20- Aug. 10
Leo: Aug. 10- Sept. 16
Virgo: Sept. 16- Oct. 30
Libra: Oct. 30- Nov. 23
Scorpio: Nov. 23- Nov. 29
Ophiuchus: Nov. 29- Dec. 17
Sagittarius: Dec. 17- Jan. 20

So...according to this new development I am a Cancer and am with a Pisces...another good match!Astrosmiley2

I forgot to mention..in Chinese Astrology I am also perfectly matched as I am a Rooster and my best matches are the Snake and the Ox...and all of the Aries men I have been with have been one or the other:biggrin:

It is all semantics of course but the earth being round was a fact even when there was no evidence to prove it...that is the way I see it and also the reason I keep my mind as open as possible to things I may not understand.

It is worth while as a mechanism to get to know the inner workings of a person. The Chinese Zodiac is far more useful than the Western Zodiac. If your partner can discuss themselves as in-depth as these "readings" so then you will know who compatible you truly are.
