Sometimes it's really hard isn't it - I had a similar thing with one of my best mates ... I was really in a catch 22 - I thought he'd either FREAK OUT because he's very masculine (but I put it to less than a 20% chance of that), or be GUTTED that he was one of the last to know ... it was just so very, very important for me that he was cool with it that I wanted to experiment by coming out with (forgive me) lesser-ranking mates first if that makes sense ?

He was, fortunately, neither !! He was a BIT sat on that I hadn't had the confidence in him to tell him sooner, but he took it as a veiled compliment (as I had hoped he would) insofar as his friendship obviously meant that much to me that I didn't want to run the risk of dinging it by making a mistake.

So whilst it can be complex, good will out in the end ... :biggrin:.
