Don't know the kid personally, but I will say he's a Johnny-come-lately. before you know it he will fade to obscurity....kid's got no staying power. And the music he makes is like wallpaper. He better enjoy it while he can.

I don't have much of an opinion. It took forever for me to hear a song and when I did, I thought he sounded breathy (as in took too many breaths while singing instead of being able to carry through until a natural break in the song), and didn't get the hype. But I don't mind him.

I do dislike how fanatical people can get about him, and other celebs. Like the jazz musician who won best new artist at the Grammys; they all flooded her twitter with hate messages because they thought he was robbed. That stuff irks me.

He is the 2011 version of Shawn Cassidy...I dont' really have any opinion except for that one thought which I have everytime I see his name. I don' think I have heard the guy sing at all. I suppose teenage girls like him though which is probably the whole point so good for him.....hope he invests his money wisely:biggrin:
