My place looks like a library. I own so many books. Confusedmile:

I used to be quite militant against the e-book devices, much preferring something tangible that I could collect, hold...even smell (old books smell nice...I don't care how weird I sound by saying that)

But I finally caved one day and purchased one of the hated gizmos. That was in November of 2010.

I now have over 3,000 titles on the thing and find it so much more practical. I love being able to take my entire library with me everywhere I do (it makes storage much easier too)

I am a born-again supporter of the Kindle

Confusedmile: Just sharing a quote I think some here can appreciate:

Giles ruminates on why books are better than computers: "Smell is the most powerful trigger to the memory there is. A certain flower or a whiff of smoke can bring up experiences long forgotten. Books smell... musty and rich. The knowledge gained from a computer is... it has no texture, no context. It's there and then it's gone. If it's to last, then the getting of knowledge should be tangible. It should be, um... smelly."
