Uhm if he can't be committed then youre just either have move on if you cant accept it or accept it. Theres no sugarcoating it pretty much. At 44, I mean, he should be able to commit but eh.

You're the young one... the young one is usually the one that leaves the older one (just the stereotype... all else held constant). Anyway, I'm also dating a guy whose a decade older than I am, I can relate to what you're feeling. But I think you need to trust him on this one. He's 44, if he felt that he were wasting his time with you, he'd end it and get started looking for someone else. I wouldn't be surprised if he's secretly worried about you leaving *him*!
