Well I sister is older than me with two kids now.

I was really say about 3 or 4 I was still finding it hard to talk so my sister used to always used say things for me. We used to be very close till I was 12 when she moved out but for a few months before she moved out I used to piss her off all the time even though I didnt do anything wrong well you know 12yro boys lol??

I did get abused by a women when I was younger, Sorry but Im not going into details..

So it's more as if you would have sought protection from your elder sister, but she didn't provide that protection. It could be that in a man you are seeking the protection you lacked when you were younger. Also that abuse thing involving a woman doesn't help to build your trust in women, does it?

Hmmm for all other more private reasons, see a counsellor?

It's men having sex with other men (MSM), that's what it's called... The whole gamut of male feelings can find expression for their potential romantic and sexual partners.

sweetlad, I think these are two separate issues and I think it's wise to seek a new "answer" to offer people because the one you are using honestly gives the impression of a choice made. Not sure I'm saying this right.

If it's the case that you are attracted to men, no one turned you off women, you were never turned "on" to them. (I'm not speaking for you, just using this as an example.)

The stuff with your sister and abuse caused a feeling of distrust toward women. I see this as something different. That would be something for you to discuss with a counselor/therapist. I just don't think it's wise to write a whole group off nor do I think it wise to let it go unresolved.

And, have you tried to maybe talk to your sister about a few things? I mean, I have two and it's kind of normal to aggravate each other, you know? And, we have days where we act more mature than others. :biggrin:

Yes, glad you were able to voice these concerns, Ryan... Those are very strong feelings that you expressed there.
For some aspects you are probably right. Does this make you hate yourself even more then, since you still have a female physique (yes that word exists and is perfectly used here)?

I think in this case what typeof attraction we are discussing should be pointed out.
When I think of attraction, I think of the whole component of feeling like you connect with another person. Those feelings that literally attract you (like a magnet) to someone, where you want to be around them 24/7, etc.

If we are talking physically, then well, yeah, that doesn't have to do anything with being gay or straight, since it's just a simple taste of attraction.
Women are beautiful, I've kissed a few and enjoyed it, but have I ever been attracted by one (with the definition I think of for 'attraction') ? Nope.

I just think this question would go eternally unanswered since everything is just perspectives.

sweetlad, I think you think similarly to the way I do in defining attraction. And you simply are not attracted to women because you're just not. You don't really need any reasons; it's simply what you really feel is right, and that's all that matters.

But then of course sometimes people want reasons...
When someone asks me "But Whyyyyyyyyyyyy don't you like women!? What's wrong with them?!" (which I find silly, even though I'm asked quite frequently) I usually respond something along the lines of:
"That's a good question, I've no idea. I guess I find them very delicate, and I just enjoy that manlyness of man more. I'm a freak of nature, I know!"
