Does circumcision reduce sensation in the penis?
#11
Marky,

I completely disagree I see absolutely no reason why younger guys shouldn't need a valid reason too.

If it's a bit tight try stretching it a bit.

Yup, unless there is a real reason to have it done, it should not be done. It reduces sensitivity and pleasure. I get really annoyed at the double standards - messing with women's bits is frowned on big time, messing with men's is just accepted without question.

I wouldnt know whether it reduces it or not because ive not been able to experience losing it.... I would imagen it could be a cause because the skin keeps it lybricated at times and when its exposed then it gets a chance to be sensitive whereas if it dries out then.... Not alot would happen.... If you do decide on re construxcted foreskin let us know how it goes be interesting

Kindest regards

I think this is one of those issues which the internet has really thrown out of perspective. There have been oodles of baby boys circumcised and most of them have grown up having full sexual lives just like their uncut counterparts. No one really cared until they started reading things on the internet that you loose nerve endings and sensitivity.

If parents want to have their sons circumcised that should be entirely up to them. Medically, it should be classified as a cosmetic procedure unless there is a diagnosed condition requiring it. I don't think that doctors should encourage it, but they should be willing to perform the operation should parents request it.

I was circumcised at birth and I'm honestly glad that it's done and out of the way.

I believe the Internet is merely an instrument that allows people to express themselves. I started asking questions about circumcision before I was seven. Wasn't popular back then to discuss sexual matters, therefore my mother bought me a set of small medical encyclopedias.
To me circumcision is a religious mark that goes under the guise of a medical procedure. This would be much like a Christian having 666 tattooed on his flesh because the parents were Satanists. Either way, it's wrong.

I'm not a fan of circumcision at birth. I was circumcised and it wasn't until I met and slept with guys who weren't that I actually learned that the foreskin has a lot of sensitivity and nerve endings in it. Its one of those things where I think if a person chooses it for themselves, great, more power to them, however, I wish I had been given that choice, as I would not choose it for myself, and if I have sons, they will not be circumcised at birth, but when they are adults, if they want it I'll support that choice.
