I like real looking men, not these artificially fabricated ones.

Nicely built men are ..... well, nice.
But Ive never understood the concept or fascination of muscles made to look like tumors all over ones body.

I got behind a man in a check out line at the store one day. He had one of those spaghetti strap tank tops on, and his pecs were freakishly humongous. In fact, they were SO big, they were drooping about three inches. I was embarrassed as hell just being next to the guy.

All I could think of is "when this guy turns 40 or 50, he's gonna have to shop for bras to hold up those drooping pancake titties". Sad....and kinda gross.

I have to agree. Muscles are nice, but to much... is just freaky.
Sometimes you need a bit of chaos in your life to be able to shrug off pitiful disdain about something meaningless.

Im talking about deforming your body on purpose. Everybody needs to exercise, but not to the extent of going overboard....which is what is considered "normal", and it isnt. Its fine to be in shape, but not to the extent of vandalizing yourself and deforming your body ...
you have a good sand box, and decent views. but not everyone sits on their ass and chooses to do lite exercise. you can still respect your body, do extreme physical work.

I'm willing to bet that the majority of the guys posted here with clean-cut abs and large muscles may look pretty but are ugly on the inside.

My third partner was into bodybuilding. He was strict with himself and with his diet (since I cooked that meant strict with me). When we met he had been working out for 5-6 years 'religiously' building up a lot of muscle mass. About a year into our relationship he got all freaky about the matter, started using injected steroids, spent 4-6 hours at the gym each day, always aiming to put on another ten pounds of muscle while struggling to maintain that 0% body fat.

He turned real ugly.

He took me to the gym to keep him 'company' - I got to meet a lot of the guys there and a lot of them had the same 'health issues' - you know narcissism x100. Every day they compared each other's muscles, asked me for my opinion. Their whole lives revolved around the gym, the diet, building more muscle.

Even the 'small' guys, those who started out just 'toning-up' got the ego issue.

There is something about having a wash-board stomach that makes guys ugly. Either they are lording it over everyone else, or they want everyone to witness their 'perfection', comment on it, drool over it. Narcissistic bastards.

David, they can't ALL be ugly on the inside.... let's be fair. Sorry you had to have that experience with the "type", though

I didn't say all, I said majority - which means most but not all.

an individuals the mind and body are connected, look in the mirror and date some one that looks like you for best results.
-I bet someone who has 30-50% body fat thinks a lot different about them selves than someone with 8%.
-someone careful about what they eat, avoids alcohol is not a good companion for someone who eats exactly what they want++ and must feel a moderate buzzz before doing a DUI for home.

not everyone is this way, a successful man will treat a stranger he first meets with a little more kindness than the stranger expects.

I don't know. I have met some guys who just naturally have those fantastic abs without going to the gym. Is that the norm? Hell no. But then I am not that hung up on looks. I mean, yes, I love looking at a beautiful well-toned body, but I also dig guys with a little paunch around the middle. In fact I dated one guy who had a huge, round, belly and he was hot because he was confident and witty. Well, he was also incredibly well-hung too. LOL Anyway, men come in a lot of different shapes and sizes and looks. My problem? I like em all!!! Smile

OMG....that reminded me....

Some time ago, I got together with this cute college guy. He was very nice and looked kind of scrawny. I didnt care, I liked his personality. Anyway, we were "getting busy", and he took his shirt off, and he had one of those "hot boi" bodies. I asked him if he worked out and he said no, he was "born that way". SHIT! What most of us wouldnt give to be born THAT way. Yes, even I admit it...but only from the standpoint it was all natural. LOL

I dont find myself attracted to guys bigger than me, but one guy I was with, his face was just SO adorable and he was so sweet. I couldnt say no.

But like Ive said before, I am more attracted to personalities than bodies. I did have one super hot, hairy, V-shaped chest, round bubble butt boyfriend once. Physically, he was "drop dead" gorgeous. But OMG, he had more baggage than Grand Central Station at Christmas time!!!!
It didnt last long. Found out he was a liar too.

I will have to say, if you have a hard body because of a physically laboring job, or your hobby/sport consists of strenuous motions (ie: rock climbing), your body naturally develops that way....thats fine. Thats honest and natural, not contrived and phony. Working out to keep weight off is much different than abusing your body into something "hulk" like, just to get people to like you.

Ive seen some gorgeous faces on guys posted on here, but then I see those malformed bodies, and its just creepy. Muscular is one thing, over doing it is another.

I will say this.........I suppose its better to abuse your body into something like that, than it is to something like this.....

I will concede on this point.
