Difference between "queer people" and "queers"
#11
The "fabric of society" has been shaken and torn and resewn together since sometime around, I dunno, forever, right? Even if legal same sex marriage did do that, that would be all the more reason to legalize it! Seriously, fuck the fabric.

As for the word queer...usage history and academic reclamation be damned, it's just too dangerously close to "queef" for me to utter it.

I believe in "gender is fluid" so I always identify myself as a "queer" instead of gay or bi. I don't see the difference between "queer people" and "queers".
I think "queer" is a more inclusive word than "GLBT"

I have never really been bothered by any labels/slang thrown my way, so queer, fag, poofter are all just words.

I'll use them myself to describe myself and as an act of defiance...you know what I mean? If I use the term myself then when the homophobes use it, the words don't have the same affect if they attempt to use it against me in a abusive manner.
