When I was 12 years old and dating my first BF I became a huge David Bowie fan after stumbling across one of his songs that summed up the mood of the moment.

This song inspires me because i think of a friend who i used to be with all the time but now hes still far away from me but we still talk on the phone and every time this song comes on i think of him

The music I listen to, a lot of the songs tend to be on the darker side, in one way or another. So it really multiplies the effect when one of these artists makes a more positive song. I take from this song a message of overcoming hopelessness, which I think is very inspirational.
