We have plenty of music threads, but I came across this performance this morning.
Having worked on a project recently with a couple of performance poets and having shared a stage with some at a recent festival I find the genre often under-exposed, but thoroughly engaging. I think Fleassy Malay's poem, "I Am a White White Woman" is superb. This is definitely not the doggerel that too often masquerades as poetry.
Okay, over to you. Do you have any examples of other poetry performances. I'm not fussy about whether it is the popular poets or more obscure ones. Just post great performances!
