Spiders... Any repellant remedies?
#1
Hi All,
I have recently noticed a rather randy itsy bitsy spider has given birth in my bathroom and now i regulary get a wall of around 40 baby spiders and keep putting em outside and they keep coming back in. I was told once that conkers repel them but thats a myth? I know i dont beleive in killing em as they keep pests away like flies and other bugs so anyone got any idea how to repel them to outside department not inside??? Joys of spider season

Kindest regards

I am pretty sure that orange oil works, then again Listerine mouth wash sprayed on the wall might work as well . I know It keeps flies and mosquito's away.

I was thinking take to them with a thong, but hey, I'm from a land of 750 billion of them buggers, mostly venomous, so 40 aren't going to be missed Tongue

Eww. EWW. EWW!
Chestnuts are, to my knowledge, a repellent.Confusedmile:

But it seems like they've already taken to using your home as theirs.
So...good luck ousting them.
I can see them dispersing around to areas of the house unless you use some kind of repellent in every room.
I could be wrong though.

I can't stand spiders.:frown:

I do believe fire does the trick, though I wouldn't recomend that.

searched google, it recomends conkers and pets like cats or something...

Zeon . what type of spiders are they?
The reason I ask is because here in Australia it's a case of "See it , kill it)
we don't usually check to see if they are venomous or not.
