I watch porn online a lot, while my sex drive is in its normal high phase. At times I have considered that I am addicted to it or compulsed. For as long as I can remember since sexual awareness (around 9) I have been very sexual; since regularly using the internet I've found porn to be a combination of pleasure from arousal (arousal as in sexual but on a deeper base level, psychologically), a way to remove what are, at the time, adversely affective cravings for sexual stimulation (again often tied to a psychological base), quickly and easily, or as an escape from life, though in this case often considered as a positive thing.

At times I end up in one of those states where being aware of the porn I have available leads me to watching some, and at times I can regret this later if I spend a long time on that. Even though the pleasure therein is valid, I tend to be very very moralistic with myself about the fact that said pleasure is temporary, and not progressive (against, for example, doing something that will cause a constructive pleasure in some permanent way). At times I try to stop for a while, but I never have. That said, at the moment I'm not harming myself or others in any way with my porn usage. I'm viewing it in a less moralistic light, simply seeing that I can enjoy the sensuality I find within, not nourishing myself therein, but certainly keeping myself relaxed and stimulated.

I do this too with things, mostly because I like Hentai (Which is japanese style drawn porn) and typically with that you download comics. Since they're usually on free filehost type sites, there's limits to how many files you can download simutanously, limits on how many files you can download per hour or per day, so I have to bookmark them and download them later.

I tend to go through a few downloads per day at least trying to find something worth keeping.
