Elton John's "Last Song" really hits home for me. I know the story behind the song, but the part about the father and son coming together and settling their differences is so touching to me. My dad and I have never really seen eye to eye but up until a few months ago, when I came out, things had gotten better. My coming out has been a bit of a setback in our relationship, but deep down inside I know that he does love me.
