Ok, apparently I'm the only ska-head on here, so let's move onto one of my other favorite genres, kind of my current one...
That being jam music. I first got into Grateful Dead thanks to some friends but have since come to love Phish as well and The String Cheese Incident, also listened to a little bit of MO and I like what I've heard. Also a fan of Furthur, shock and amazement, right? I actually just saw Furthur this past Thanksgiving (weekend before) in Madison, WI and was absolutely blown away!!!!
First by Shakedown Street, and then by the concert... and maybe some mushrooms (from Shakedown Street  ) and later by the concept that I was watching some of the originators of acid rock, jam music, the hippy culture etc... it was awesome!!
