Avenue Q
#1
Has anyone seen Avenue Q before??
I went to see it with Ian a few weeks ago and thought it was fantastic. I'd already heard the soundtrack for the one with the original London cast as Ian had it in his car, but I gotta say, the old cast definitely sounded better. There was also an issue with the new cast and their acoustics - a lot of the time the music was louder and we were finding it a struggle to hear them.

However it is sooooo funny! Definitely worth seeing at least once I'd say!

The evil Fox News channel has this amazingly funny late nite comedy show. Sometimes they invite actors/puppets from Avenue Q and it is very funny stuff.

Saw Avenue Q on Broadway also, was a HUGE let down. I don't know, the cast were amazing but I guess being a big fan on the cast recording, I expected it to be AMAZING, when in reality it was just average. I mean, don't get me wrong, I still though it was brilliant and I love Avenue Q, I just expected it to be better.

Also, JOHN TARTAGLIA (original Princeton and Rod) has joined the original Broadway cast of Shrek the Musical in the role of Pinocchio... interesting.
