Advice for safe sex
#1
Hi guys.

Recently I discovered I am bi and started hanging out with guys.
I always have safe sex. With girls is easy, just put a condom on it and you are well protected.

With guys is different. I am not into anal sex, but I am into oral sex. I like giving oral very much, but don't like sucking condom over the dick.

Can you give me some advice how to have safe oral sex with guys. Is there any way to tell if there is something on someone's penis? Can I see by naked eye if somebody has some STD or it's not possible.

I really don't want to suck dick over a condom.

Thanks in advance.

Usually, you can't tell by looking at a man's penis or genital area whether or not he has an STD. The exceptions would be genital warts (HPV), or if the penis is red and/or has a discharge from gonorrhea or whatever, or genital herpes during an outbreak. Other than using a condom, you can't be 100% safe. However, you can take some common-sense precautions.

Don't perform oral sex if you have cuts in your mouth, abraded areas or bleeding gums. Don't receive oral sex from a man who has cold sores or any sort of infected looking sore on his mouth or tongue. Know your partner. The more random partners you have, the greater the risk of getting an STD.

If you're not going to use a condom, your best defense is knowing your partner. Knowing that he's not promiscuous. Not being promiscuous yourself. Sucking off random guys in club bathrooms makes for hot porn, but in reality it's just too damned risky.

Wise words.

Sadly many of the STDs don't have visible symptoms.

Basically, what Gemini said.

If you're not keen on a condom, next best thing is knowing your partner is negative for an array of STDs.

Meaning, do go around sucking every son of a gun that flashes your dick at you without knowing them first.

Hmm, so in other words I need to stop chewing on the inside of my mouth then Tongue
Damn, another thing that'll be hard to stop. It's just as addicting as biting nails. Though I've managed to stop biting my nails on the right hand.
And I like how much more pretty my right hand looks with nails Tongue

Thanks for suggestions.
Well, I am not going into clubs sucking everyone Smile I met few guys using grindr, but really can't say if they are promiscuous or not. I mean, we are all on grindr to find guys for some fun, so who knows with how many guys they slept before. Trying to find someone who has been with 2-3 guys before we met is almost impossible.

One of the things I am also afraid off is cumming in my mouth. I like that, but wouldn't do it if I really don't know the person. So far I have done it with only one friend.

Even on Grindr, you are exposing yourself to STDs. Remember that gonorrhea does not need to live only in the penis but can infect your throat and then you can in turn infect someone else you suck. Read up on safe oral sex. Mostly they say you should do it with a dam. As a Dutchman you should know all about dams.

Get tested regularly for STDs at a sexual health clinic. I've done it so many times I don't get embarrassed going there anymore.

Not letting a guy cum in your mouth doesn't make it any safer, as STD's can also be transmitted through pre-cum.

And actually, we're not ALL onGrindr looking for fun - IDK, it's just me, but I don't do NSA or random hookups - for my physical health, and for my emotional health as well.

The only safe sex is no sex.

Since that isn't going to happen. Just keep in mind that most STDs don't have visible symptoms.

Most of what can be said has already been said in this thread, but ultimately if you have or perform oral sex unprotected, know the risks and minimise them and have safer sex.
