Beaux, is he crazy? Doesn't he know what he's got? His loss, big time.

Thanks! I honestly don't know what the hell is wrong with him, but he acts like sex is something that we used to do when we were young...the only thing that really interests him is his work... Sad
Truthfully? I cannot imagine how it will all work out, but (at least for the time being) I am just worried about trying to get us out of the bind he put us in by taking this new job. The new job is in Atlanta while our home is in Charleston. Until we can find a place there and sell this house, we are spending ~2,000 a month just to keep him in a hotel there...
Hopefully, after we get out from under this insane living/spending situation we can focus more on our relationship.... That is, if he is willing to try....

ANYWAY, I can't focus on that at the moment! I am enjoying the flirting attention too much!!! XD

That's awesome Smile I wish I would get flirted with like that but I probably wouldn't know what to do if it did happen.

It was awesome! I'm not that great at flirting, at least not starting it, but once it started I found myself saying the silliest, most suggestive things...especially when he asked me to hold the end of his measuring tape LOLZ

Oh I am terrible at flirting, I kind of ought to be a little more assertive...at least when I know they're gay anyway. Always been bad at flirting and mostly oblivious when flirted with and even when I do catch on I get too nervous to flirt back :/

I suppose under the right conditions, chemistry and what not things can work out but usually, like if it is something out of the blue I'm kind of like...what just happened?

Well...I can see from your profile, that you are 30 years old. I have approached things much as you have described for most of my life, but I discovered that the closer I get to 60 the more likely I am to take chances! I am 45 and I reacted with LIGHTENING speed once I realized that there was even the POSSIBILITY I was being flirted with! I suspect, that as you get closer to my age over the next 15 years, that your reaction time with improver similarly, too...LOL

Same here. I have a gay friend that I go around with a lot and he periodically will tell me a guy was just oogling me. If he hadn't said anything I'd have no idea.

Latest Update:

Wow! This man is something else! Lol I had to call him this morning to get the address to send out deductible payment. After we exchanged basic pleasentries, I asked about the address and he said, "oh, no no, don't worry about mailing a check! I will have the repair contract ready next week and I will bring it by your house to sign and I will pick up the check then."
Well, I (obviously) got a little excited at the prospect of seeing him again but I maintained my composure and thanked him and said goodbye.

A minute later, he calls me back! I answer and he goes into this speech that he has obviously given a lot of thought! It went something along these lines:
"Hi! Sorry to call you right back, but something has been on my mind. When I met you in person, obviously you are a man, but when I talk to you on the phone I can't help but think of you as a beautiful woman. I'm not a religious person, but I am a spiritual person. I think that, inside, you are a really beautiful person and even though we haven't known each other for very long something inside of me wants to make you happy. So, if you would like me to refer to you with female pronouns I will. If you prefer male pronouns, I wil use those. I just want you to be happy."

I told him (honestly) that I don't care what he calls me, as long as he is comfortable, to which he replied:
"I just feel like we have known each other before, maybe in another life. I wouldn't care if you identified as a man, a woman, or a dolphin. I just want you to know that I see you as something beyond all of that and I think that is beautiful."

Ok. Can I tell you? I think I must have flushed from the cheeks on my face all the way to the cheeks on my ass. I was, literally, speechless but it didn't feel uncomfortable AT ALL!
He said he would be in touch soon, and that was it.

Maybe he is right, maybe in another life...
