I got a really lovely tea towel, a tube of ASSORTED whittaker's mini chocolates, and a toy car that spins around really fast.

and a lot of acceptance from my pakeha family when my mother (as she's been doing lately) blurted out how I'm gay and went on about it for a while, so that was nice, although I think that's against etiquette for mum to keep doing that... oh well, it's always good to be open
