Bloomfield St. Patrick’s Day Display Delights Some, Offends Others

With each holiday's arrival, one constant in Bloomfield is an imaginative scene on display in front of 226 Lakewood DriveÂ
From elaborate Christmas displays to an essential workers tribute during the pandemic, resident James Joanow utilizes mannequins to help celebrate the upcoming holiday/event.Â
This year, for Saint Patrick's Day, the festive scene features 13 mannequins and the property and thousands of orange and green lights. According to Joanow, the theme is a "St. Patricks Day Disco Party." "At night, when the lights go on, I play all classic disco music. The display will be up till St. Patrick's Day on March 17th."
