Every (non-Covid) year in May in my town we have the May Fair, where a load of rides and games and stuff turn up and take over the entire centre of the town for four days. I think it’s basically what our transatlantic members call a ”˜carnival’ (Chuck probably has some appropriate window decorations he puts out for it). Anyway, there are a few games like those grabbing machines, hook the duck, darts and various other things where you can win prizes, usually these are cheap fake knock-off toys of whatever is the current relevant movie at that point in time (eg if there was a Star Wars film out there would probably be ”˜Space Fight’ toys including ”˜beam swords’ and characters like ”˜Ludo Skytrekker’.

Those cheap fake toys are more genuine than the absolutely appalling imposter wins I can see before this REAL winning post.
