If you like that extra "yeasty" taste like I do, you can use beer in any bread recipe, it gives it a much better flavor.
There are also different kinds of yeast you can use, that will help with the taste. You can also use flavorings in the bread, such as butter, pecan, walnut, or sunflower seed. You can also put herbs in it.
You can make your own flavorings too. Example:
In a food processor, purree pecans, olive oil, and and garlic. Just enough oil to make it pliable and wont dry out. Puree till smooth. Put one tablespoon in one loaf mixture of bread. The rest can be put in an airtight container and put in the fridge.
The pecans give it a slight extra nutty flavor, and the garlic.....well, I like garlic. But you get the idea.
