Gay Marriage

I remember back in 2008, my ex and I were so excited about gay marriage becoming a reality in CA. Especially since I wanted him and I to move there in the future. If not, we were pretty sure that NY would be the next state to legalize it. Then Prop 8 came and we were both extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, he is not with me anymore. I'm extremely skeptical that he's gonna keep it up with his new lifestyle and he'll come out of the closet one more time.

I sense that gay marriage will be a reality in other states. I can really feel it. Gay marriage has come a long way and I know there will be some more progress. Who knows, it may get legalized in NY in a couple years or so. I would love that to happen. That means my neighbors will have the opportunity to marry. Obviously, I'm all for gay marriage. I don't know about my parents... my dad... yeah he's sadly homophobic. My mom isn't homophobic and she still believes marriage is between a man and a woman.

It's the 21st century. Gay marriage should be a reality worldwide and there should be no problem with it at all. As soon as soon as these dinosaurs (the people against it and stuff) die out... I have a gut feeling that gay marriage will be a reality all parts of the world. I may not be alive to see it and I know it'll take for it to be possible in all parts of the world.
